Disco Pants Partial to short, squirrelly Arabs and the like, Lauren bought this young, red, handsome and TALL TB cross gelding as a resale project, thinking that would be enough for her to want to sell him. Cord, or The Robert Redford of Horses as he's known, has since won Lauren over with his charm and doesn't seem to be moving anytime soon...

Hackamore Cactus "I will walk in the mud and snow. You will run in the fields where flowers grow. I will live my life and slowly grow old. You will always be fit, strong and bold. I will tell stories of our time spent together. Time will have no meaning for you, each moment is forever. I will remember you everyday until I pass. Then I will meet you in that field with the tall, green grass." – Laura Lazaridis

Topper On “loan” from her friend Stefanie for the purposes of teaching young kids, Topper has proven that size does not matter - you can still be "Not suitable for those under the age of 18" when you are only 42" tall! Lauren uses Topper to teach people how to whistle...Ask her why!

Painted Chief Blackbird Stef (see Topper above) started Chief a few years back and gave him an excellent foundation. Unfortunately, Chief ended up having some very bad experiences after that, before Lauren found him and brought him home. Grateful for the lessons Chief has taught her so far, Chief is Lauren's biggest challenge to date. Chief has a huge heart, tons of try and is here to stay.

Aleta Finally...It's a girl!! This beautiful Arab mare recently joined the rowdy geldings at Rojo Pez. A nice couple from Grand Forks did a fine job of raising Aleta from birth, and then very generously gifted her to Lauren. Aleta is a gorgeous girly-girl, with a sweet personality and spice to spare. Lauren feels very honored to have her, and looks forward to their future together.
