What`s New On The Farm

Lesson Openings

Lauren and her horses currently have a few spots available for new students.
If you are interested in riding, connecting with and learning from one horse on
a regular basis, we are interested in meeting you. Raz, Six and Concorde are
each able to add another student to their roster - please see their profiles on
"The Herd" page and contact Lauren for more information.

Lauren and Cord

Rojo Pez Ranch's Employee of the Month

All of the horses at Rojo Pez give two hearty hooves up to our favourite employee,
Claudia. Claudia has been helping us out on the ranch for the last year and we
couldn't imagine the property without her. Three days a week she cleans pens,
turns horses out and feeds - providing a much needed break for Lauren. Always
quick on the draw with the carrots, the horses nicker when Claudia shows up in
the morning. Claudia is also mother to one of Lauren's students, Noortje. And
Noortje is the proud owner of Trixie, one of our lesson ponies. Claudia is very
humble, and a little shy…so she provided us with this great picture that she
hopes will mask her true identity! Thank you for all you do Claudia!

Collaboration to Find a Feel, with Stefanie Travers and Alexa Linton

September 10th, 11th, 12th 2010 - Gifted horsewoman, Stefanie Travers of www.lodestarhorsemanship.ca/ and Alexa Linton of www.balanceworksequine.com
will be presenting a fascinating joint clinic called “Collaboration to Find a Feel”.
Here is a description on the clinic taken from their websites:

“Working together, Stefanie and Alexa will be taking you into your sense of "feel"
and developing this sense throughout the weekend. This intuitive quality is present
in each one of us and is often just waiting to be brought to the surface and
acknowledged. This workshop is a must for any horse person wanting to change
their current horse relationship into a powerful partnership based on communication
and understanding.”.
