Horsemanship Lessons
  
Lauren offers riding and horsemanship lessons - on your horse or one of hers.
Going much deeper than traditional “position-focused” riding lessons, you will
learn how horses think, sense and operate on a physical and emotional level.
While learning how to be an effective and balanced rider, you will develop your
skills to work with horses through feel, and see things from their point of view.

Foundation Training

A strong foundation is imperative for the horse, no matter the intended discipline
or focus. By respecting the horse’s true nature, Lauren can help your horse
be a confident, soft, attentive, trusting and willing partner who can tackle any
task. Whether your horse is a clean slate or if it displays unwelcome problem
behaviours, Lauren can help you and your horse have a successful partnership.

Boarding Horses

Full board that puts the horse’s needs first is available here at Rojo Pez Ranch.
By day the horses are turned out on large pastures in compatible herds. By night
each horse retires to its own individual pea-gravel paddock with attached shelter.
The Ranch is also home to Squamish’s only covered riding arena for
year-round training opportunities.
